ACCESS:
We can build a patio anywhere. Anywhere? Yes… ANYWHERE. We have built patios on top of skyscrapers in Boston as well as patios that serve as “The Ocean floor” During moon tides.
TIMELINE:
An Average patio is roughly 400 sq ft. A patio this size typically takes 2-3 days to complete from start to finish.. This will be elaborated within the “Project Synopsis” provided w/ the purchased project quotation.
WATER, PITCH, & WATER RUN OFF:
Water, Pitch, Run off, etc Our accounts managers start every project binder w/ a conceptual site analysis. This analysis consists not only of geographical characteristics like sun path but also the natural contours of the land and its watershed. Our Accounts managers are experienced landscape designers of whom will provide a project synopsis which will articulate any water mitigation plans and or concerns.
WHAT WILL THE FINISHED PRODUCT LOOK LIKE? GRASS REPAIR

“KnK Landscape” has the ability to not only produce masonry work, but complete a project from DESIGN to BUILD. Where many masons or hardscape outfits leave a path of destruction no home or project manager can budget for accordingly.
SEAMLESS PROJECT MANAGEMENT - this means we will lawn repair any of the damaged areas as well as ensure that the work area around our patio is properly finish landscaped.
We work with fresh compost & Quality local seed w/ a temporary irrigation system we will design & install. And collect after roughly 5-10 weeks.
WORKING HOURS & STAGING:
Our business is very much dictated by the weather. This sort of variable can not be taken into consideration lightly. We perform work on all our projects starting at 7AM and work until 5PM up-to 7 days a week. During projects our crews will need space to stage an operation area. This area typically is along the main road as our crews all have their own enclosed trailer & truck and both can be expected at job sites overnight. This plan will be summarized in the final project synopsis that is provided once a Deposit has been received for said project.
WARRANTY:
The only warranties associated with our paver projects are the product warranties offered by the paver manufacturer on the material itself.

Decks

3 Season Rooms

Project Minimum:$4,000.00
Decks are accessory structures to dwellings & buildings and require permitting with city building departments to ensure proper building practices. Your KnK account manager & Designers can not only design your new deck, but obtain permitting as well as procurement of the said materials.
Often existing already constructed decks have experienced wear on the face boards. Often the deck boards are removed and replaced, This sort of project often does NOT require permitting and can extend the lifespan of a deck by several years.While obviously rebuilding decks is always the best option, “Reskinning” is a great option for a lower budget face lift.
Retaining Walls
Starting @ $22.00 Per SQ Face/FT (Non Vehicular) Project Minimum:$4,000.00
Retaining walls are built from various materials and used in dozens of different applications but typically possess functionality beyond aesthetics. Walls are the most expensive fixture in a landscape and understanding such in the planning process can make or break a project. Many walls require licensing, planning, and most of all engineering to ensure a successful system. Walls require water mitigation systems to prevent blow out (the wall exploding) caused by hydrostatic pressure built up behind walls that don’t have drains & water mitigation systems used to manage the project's water-shed. An imperative system to a successful wall that is more often forgotten then not.
Natural stone walls (Job Minimum:50 square face feet / $5,000.00)
Natural stone walls that are not pre engineered (Engineered means: precast concrete blocks that are set / installed into one another as designed) require large amounts of labor and engineering time and budget.
These such walls can average between $75 - $150+ per face square foot. These sort of walls are great options when seeking the design element natural stone provides. These types of walls by definition are “specialty” and cost 3x - 4x what an “Engineered Precast” wall would cost. Timeline of natural stone walls is another contributing factor when planning a landscape retaining wall project. For example a 100 square face foot natural stone wall could take roughly 300 man hours to install, whereas an Engineered Wall would require ⅓ the man hour liability. (at $120.00 a man hour, things can add up quickly)
Engineered walls (average $25-$50 per face square foot. Minimum Project: $4,000.00) such as “Alan block”. These are great options for retaining walls as the engineering specifications required by building departments are purchased w/ the materials for said wall. Satisfying building dept requirements is much easier obtained using engineered wall systems. Rip Rap / Retaining Revetments: (Designed & Installed custom for each job, Quoted / Billed using $120 per man hour for Labor + Materials = Project Cost.) When an unretained slope requires a retaining structure, but a wall is out of the budget, revetments are great options. Revetments can provide a stable application that satisfies building dept requirements and provide suitable retention at an affordable price. These sorts of walls require additional engineering systems like geo-textiles & Grid systems that ensure adequate anchorage under load.
